**Objective:**

**Procedure:**
1. **Introduction (10 minutes)**
- Engage students with a quick interactive activity. Show pictures or objects from various cultures around the world.
- Ask students to guess which country or culture the items come from and what they are used for.
- Briefly explain that culture includes traditions, food, clothing, language, and holidays, and today’s lesson will explore different cultures.
2. **Direct Instruction (15 minutes)**
- Show a multimedia presentation highlighting various cultures around the world. This could include short video clips, images, and music from different countries.
- Discuss the key cultural elements mentioned in the objectives.
- Use the world map or globe to point out the location of each culture showcased in the presentation.
3. **Guided Practice (15 minutes)**
- Divide students into small groups and distribute cultural fact sheets or handouts, each focusing on a different culture.
- Assign each group to read and discuss the information on their sheet. Questions to consider: What are some important traditions? What kinds of food are common? What types of clothing are typical? What language is spoken? What holidays are celebrated?
- Have each group prepare a short presentation to share with the class about their assigned culture.
4. **Group Presentations (10 minutes)**
- Each group presents their findings to the class. Encourage students to use visual aids and provide a brief demonstration or sample if applicable (e.g., showing a piece of traditional clothing or explaining how a holiday is celebrated).
5. **Individual Activity (10 minutes)**
- Ask students to choose one culture they learned about and create a mini poster that includes:
- A drawing or picture of a traditional item from that culture (food, clothing, etc.)
- 3-4 key facts about the culture
- An explanation of why they found that culture interesting or unique.
**Assessment:**
- Evaluate students’ group presentations for understanding and accuracy.
- Review students’ individual mini posters for effort, creativity, and the inclusion of key facts.
**Closure (5 minutes):**
- Recap the main points of the lesson.
- Ask students to share one new thing they learned about a culture different from their own.
- Emphasize the importance of cultural diversity and respecting different traditions and customs.
**Homework:**
- Assign students to interview a family member about the cultural traditions their family practices. Students should write a short paragraph (5-7 sentences) about what they learned and be prepared to share it during the next class.

- Plan a cultural fair where students can bring in items, food, or dress in traditional clothing from different cultures.
